DPV Diveplanner
This DPV planner is intended to safely plan dives with diver propulsion vehicles (DPVs). When diving with underwater scooters, you are always limited by either your no-decompression limit/maximal amount of deco, available breathing gas, or the burn time of your DPV.
It is not intended to be used to perform no-decompression or decompression calculations. However, I wanted to provide this possibility. For dives within the no-decompression limit, tables have been added that perform NDL calculations. These are disabled if you indicate that you want to plan a deco dive. In that case, you can select other breathing gases that are suitable for deeper dives. Deco gases such as 50% nitrox and oxygen are not allowed for this calculation because you will often be hanging still during your deco. If you don't do that and are on the trigger during deco, you could add an extra bottom stage. The DPV planner does not take this into account. Also, the ability to select different gas mixtures is disabled so that no-deco, PPO2, and END calculations remain accurate. If you plan to use this for dives where you want to do this, it might be useful to manually calculate this part and only specify the deepest gas.
I created this tool because I couldn't find a decent alternative and found manually calculating everything very irritating. I am personally certified as GUE DPV 1 and have built the planner according to GUE guidelines as much as possible. However, I have also provided the option to use compressed air or Nitrox 28%.
Disclaimer
Using this planner is at your own risk and I am not liable for any consequences. Using a DPV can be fun, but it can also be dangerous. This planner only provides a small warning, for example, about toxic or narcotic gases, and using them at depth can be fatal. Using DPVs and this planner should be avoided if you do not have the appropriate knowledge or experience.
